Sunday at the AirVenture

More planes are arriving one day before the official start of the EAA AirVenture:

• Airplanes scheduled to arrive include F/A-18 Hornets, the DC-3 Duggy, the F4U Corsair, a Piedmont Airlines DC-3, the B-17 Flying Fortress bomber "Thunderbird," the B-25 Mitchell bomber "Special Delivery," the P-38 Lightning fighter "Glacier Girl," and the Electraflyer-C.
  
• Mass arrivals today include Comanches, recreational vehicles, and AV Cup racers.
• The HH60G PaveHawk and the Federal Aviation Administration's DC-3 will be on display in AeroShell Square.

Other events:

• Bell 47 helicopter flights (the helicopter featured in the movie and TV series "M*A*S*H" will be available from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  
• The EAA Young Eagles Celebrity Golf Classic will be held at The Golf Courses at Lawsonia Links Course in Green Lake at 10:30 a.m.
• Theater in the Woods will be held at 6:30 p.m.
• The Fly-In Theatre will feature "The Flight of the Gossamer Condor" and "The Memphis Belle: A Story of a Flying Fortress," introduced by "Gossamer Condor" director Ben Shedd at 8:30 p.m.
