The Wisconsin Department of Transportation Northeast Regional Office at Green Bay has rescheduled the closing of the Wisconsin 96 (Wisconsin Avenue) ramps to and from U.S. 41 in Grand Chute, previously scheduled to be closed Wednesday.
The 41/96 interchange instead will be closed Friday from 7 p.m. to Saturday at 7 a.m. This closure is part of the on-going construction project on Wisconsin 96.
There will be a posted detour and message boards announcing the closures. Alternate exits from 41 are at Wisconsin 125/Outagamie County CA (College Avenue) south of 96 and Wisconsin 15/Outagamie County OO (Northland Avenue) north of 96. Motorists should remain alert and use extra caution when driving through this or any work zone.
