SHRM Diversity Day Aug. 5

The Fox Valley Chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management will hold its fourth annual Diversity Day event at the Bridgewood Conference Center in Neenah Tuesday, Aug. 5 from 8 a.m. to noon.

The keynote address for the event will be given by Amy Oberg, futurist and strategist specializing in helping organizations better understand the emerging competitive environment and respond with effective, proactive strategies. With more than 25 years of cumulative experience, Oberg has been sought out for her insights by organizations in a wide variety of industries including aerospace, energy, telecommunications, transportation, consumer goods, real estate and finance. The keynote address will focus on the competitive work environment, and the critical impact woman and minorities have on ensuring the future success of an organization.

Additional speakers for the event include Nancy Heykes, Education Chair, Fox Cities Rotary Multicultural Center; Estella Caputo, Director of External Affairs, AT&T; Kristine Hackbarth-Horn, Chief Operating Officer of People, Goodwill Industries of North Central Wisconsin; and Indra Wiryadinata, Electrical Engineer of Miller Electric Manufacturing Co.
