The Green Bay Packers held their annual shareholders meeting at Lambeau Field today.
Highlights of the meeting (from JSOnline.com):
- Packers president Mark Murphy called the Brett Favre unretirement situation a “sensitive situation” with long-term ratifications for the franchise.
- Coach Mike McCarthy says the Packers had a “great off-season.”
- After the meeting, Murphy said that should Favre choose to apply for reinstatement to the NFL, he will be on the Packers’ roster, though in “a different role.”
- Before the meeting began, a video showed 2007 highlights.
