To accommodate this growth and the need for additional space, Thrivent Financial Bank is relocating 100 employees to the City Center East office building at 122 E. College Ave. in downtown Appleton.
The new space will allow for 30 percent more room to meet future needs of the organization. Currently, bank employees are located at the branch on Milestone Drive in Appleton and the Thrivent Financial Ballard Operations Center. The transition to City Center East is expected to take place Sept. 15.
Thrivent Financial Bank, a wholly owned subsidiary of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, has achieved 43 percent growth in assets over the past five years, bringing total assets as of June 30 to $503.7 million. Total loans from Thrivent Financial Bank have increased 74.9 percent since 2003, including 11 percent in the first six months of 2008.
“Our growth is a testament to our principle of stewardship and the trust our clients put in us,” said Todd Sipe, Thrivent Financial Bank president and chief executive officer. “Due to our growth, we are thrilled to be expanding Thrivent Financial Bank with an additional location in the Fox Cities.”
