The Wisconsin Department of Transportation is announcing lane restrictions on bridges for brief periods on Tuesday, Aug. 5 and Thursday, Aug. 7, 2008 for annual inspections. Motorists are advised to use caution and remain alert when driving through work zones.
Scheduled inspections include:
- The Wisconsin 54 Embarrass River bridge in New London, with lane closures Tuesday from 8 to 10 a.m.
- The Wisconsin 54 Wolf River bridge in New London, with eastbound lane closures Tuesday from noon to 1 p.m.
- The Wisconsin 32 Oconto River bridge in Oconto County, with northbound lane closures Tuesday from 2 to 3 p.m.
- The Wisconsin 28 Onion River bridge in Waldo, with eastbound lane closures Thursday from 9 to 10 a.m.
- The Wisconsin 23 Mullet River bridge will have lane closures Thursday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
