The Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s August Morning Business Advice will be held at the D.J. Bordini Center at Fox Valley Technical College, 5 Systems Dr., Appleton, Thursday, Aug. 14 at 7:30 a.m.
Speakers will be the 2008 Small Business of the Year award-winners — Kurt Wollenberg of Performance Welding, Jay Schumerth of the Radisson Paper Valley Hotel, and Tom Merryfield of The Learning Shop. Subjects will include turning employee turnover into employee longevity, dealing with growth and succession planning, and adoping lean and Kaizen concepts for small business.
Registration is at 7:15 a.m. Cost is $5 for chamber members who register in advance and $7 at the door, and $10 for non-chamber members.
