Forbes.com’s first rankings of U.S. colleges puts Lawrence University in Appleton on top of Wisconsin schools and 68th nationally.
Ripon College ranked 109th, and St. Norbert College in De Pere ranked 140th.
The rankings, in conjunction with the Center for College Affordability and Productivity, are based on student evaluations of classes and instructors from RateMyProfessors.com, the percentage of alumni listed in Who’s Who in America, average amount of student debt at graduation, percentage of four-year graduation, and the percentage of students and faculty who have won nationally competitive awards, including Nobel Prizes and Rhodes Scholarships.
