Gov. Jim Doyle said today that the papermaker Appleton has received an $85,000 state grant to train 80 employees on new equipment the company is adding as part of a $7 million project to rebuild three coating machines.
Employee-owned Appleton is the leading manufacturer of carbonless paper and also makes other specialized papers and packaging materials.
