Friday at the AirVenture

Day five of the EAA AirVenture features:

• Arriving airplanes include the E-2C Hawkeye, the F-15 Eagle, and a group of trainers, the Navy T-38 Sabreliner, T-6 Texan II and T-45 Goshawk, and the Air Force T-1A Jayhawk.
  
• Warbirds in Review will feature the Doolittle Raiders P-38 Lightning, part of the bombing raid on Tokyo in early 1942, at 10 a.m., and astronaut and P-40 owner Joe Engle at 1 p.m.
• The Rocket Racing League will hold its first exhibition race at 2:30 p.m.
  
• The air show at 3:30 p.m. will feature the Liberty Parachute Team, Chuck Aaron, Chandy Clanton, Julie Clark, Debby Rihn-Harvey, Nikolay Timofeev, Patty Wagstaff, Collaborators Formation Aerobatic Team, the F-22 Raptor, and Warbirds.
  
• Theater in the Woods at 7 p.m. will feature the Lt. Dan Band, led by actor Gary Sinise, an Academy Award nominee for his role as Lt. Dan in "Forrest Gump."
  
• The Fly-In Theater at 8:30 p.m. will feature “Broken Arrow,” introduced by actor and pilot John Travolta.
