The Wisconsin Department of Transportation Northeast Regional Office at Green Bay is announcing that construction is scheduled to begin Monday, Aug. 4 on the U.S. 10/Calumet County N intersection.
The project involves construction of a roundabout at the 10/County N intersection.
The intersection will be closed to traffic during construction. The detour route for U.S. 10 will be Wisconsin 114 to Wisconsin 55 to 10. The detour route for County N will be 114 to 55 to Calument County KK to County N.
Temporary four-way stop signs and flashers will also be installed at the 10/Wisconsin 55, 55/114, and 114/State Park Road intersections during the 10/N closure.
Project cost is estimated at $1.3 million and is scheduled for completion by October.
