Plexus Corp. of Neenah said it has received defense orders worth $5 million that are expected to be shipped in the fiscal fourth quarter that starts July 1.
In addition, he company said it is aware of $17 million in potential orders from the same defense customer that would be shipped in its next fiscal year.
The company also said it has repurchased $168 million of its shares since late February, and confirmed its sales guidance for the full fiscal year and its prior earnings guirdance for the quarter that ends this month.
The announcement came as the electronics contract manufacturer prepares to host an investor meeting Wednesday in the Chicago area, the company said.
