Charter Communications is telling subscribers the cable company has reached "an agreement in principle" with the owner of WLUK-TV (channel 11) in Green Bay to carry WLUK on Charter cable systems.
The agreement, according to Charter, includes, for the first time, carrying WLUK's HD signal.
Charter's existing agreement to carry WLUK expires June 30. The company has been negotiating with LIN Communications, owner of WLUK and stations in Grand Rapids, Mich., Hartford–New Haven, Conn., Springfield, Mass., Dayton, Ohio, Providence, R.I., and Toledo, Ohio.
