Green Bay farmers market starts June 4

The Fifth Annual Farmers’ Market on Broadway Presented by Renew Fuel Stations and 104.3 The Breeze starts Wednesday, June 4.

Farmers’ Market on Broadway runs every Wednesday evening June through September from 3 to 8 p.m. (3 to 7 p.m. in September), rain or shine. Located on Broadway between Walnut and Dousman streets in the Broadway District in downtown Green Bay, the market features locally grown produce, artwork from area artists, ready-to-eat food items, beverages from local brewers and vintners, live music, and more. More than 50 vendors will line the streets June 4. Growing this year, the Farmers’ Market will have more than 80 vendors throughout the season selling fresh fruits and vegetables, fresh cut flowers, one of a kind artwork, food and much more.

The musical line-up for the market has been set, and includes some regular favorites as well as a few new acts. Kerry Michaels starts the year out on June 4, followed by Dale A. and Magic Earl on June 11, and some great performances by the Ashwaubenon High School Jazz Band for the last two dates in June. Special thanks to Vincent Urban Walker & Associates, Broadway Automotive, Dimension IV, US Bank, SecureWindEnergy.com, Liberty Title, Wisconsin Public Service and the Green Bay Packers for sponsoring the music line-up.
