Gallery Nite in Green Bay Thursday

Eight galleries in and around the Olde Main Street district welcome the public to Gallery Nite in Green Bay on Thursday, June 19 from 5 to 8 p.m.


Gallery Nite is a free open house where people experience new art exhibits, meet the artists and enjoy refreshments in authentic gallery spaces.


Featured galleries include Photography By Fix, 517 Forest St.; the ARTgarage, 1400 Cedar St., featuring live entertainment and live art demonstrations; NL Johnson Art, 1263 Main St., where owner Norman Johnson will paint a piece live; artessence, 1263 Main St.; Weathered Goods, 1242 Main St., featuring collage artist Patty O’Rourke and jewelry artist Joy Kruse; Sanderson Photography, 1000 Pine St.; The Attic Books & Coffee, 730 Bodart St., featuring live music; and A Better Footprint, 1228 Main St., featuring African fine art.


Two trolleys will circle the galleries and parking area located behind Los Banditos, 1258 Main St., or Olde Town Crossing, 1243 Main St., every 10 minutes starting at 5 p.m. Attendees can get on the trolley at the parking area or at any participating gallery.
