Valley Home Builders gives awards

The Valley Home Builders Association has given out three annual awards:

• Builder Member of the Year: Mike Gibbons of GTS Construction is past president of the VHBA. He has served on many VHBA committees, including Home Expo, Parade of Homes, and the Green Building Task Force. He is on the boards of directors of the VHBA and the Wisconsin Builders Association.
• Affiliate Member of the Year: David Eisele of Martinson & Eisele Inc. has been the chairman of VHBA’s Government Affairs Committee for several years. He has been a partner with Martinson & Eisele for nearly 30 years, during which the company has grown to 49 employees.
• Associate Member of the Year: Darren Huff of Watters Plumbing is a local Cubmaster and Junior Achievement volunteer, has worked on several Rebuilding Together and Habitat for Humanity projects, and has facilitated several blood drives for the Community Blood Center. He is a director for the Wisconsin Builders Association and is the 2008 chair of VHBA’s Education Committee.
