Executives back Sheboygan bank formation

A group of business people, most with ties to the Sheboygan area, have joined the board of Lake Shore Wisconsin Corp., the proposed holding company for the planned Lake Shore Bank.

They are: Miguel A. Bayliss, owner and vice president of Alpine Construction Co., in Sheboygan; Richard A. Bemis, owner of Bemis Manufacturing Co., Sheboygan Falls; Eldon L. Bohrofen, an attorney and former banker in Sheboygan; Anne B. Grunau, owner of the Anne Grunau Collection LLC, in Milwaukee; Edward J. McKelvey, owner and president of Lakeside Bottling Co., a Pepsi Cola franchise in Sheboygan Falls; Stephen M. Skoronski, a Kohler attorney and former owner of Skoronski Corp. in Indianpolis, Ind.; Richard R. Testwuide, a management consultant from Bell Canyon, Calif. and former chairman of Wyle Laboratories; Daniel J. Waibel, chief financial officer of Orion Energy Systems Inc., Manitowoc; and Dirk J. Zylman, chairman of the Town of Mosel and a former banker and vice president of Lakeland Community College.

The outside directors join Lake Shore employees James Meisser, president and chief executive; Jeanene Meisser, chief operating officer and controller; and Thomas Schueller, chief credit officer and managing director.

The bank, to be located at 615 Pennsylvania Ave. in Sheboygan, currently is raising capital and is expected to open for business later this year.
