National Football League and indoor football players will meet on a softball diamond to benefit Caritas Adult Day Services.
The Packer vs. Blizzard Celebrity Charity Softball Game will be held at Joannes Stadium in Green Bay Sunday, June 8 at 3 p.m. Proceeds and donations for the game will go toward the creation of scholarships for 800 people with medical needs, including prescription drugs and medical equipment.
The game will begin with a home run derby, with each player paired with a child who will win a prize if his or her player hits a home run. A silent auction will feature autographed jerseys and baseball bats. A Meet and Greet autograph session with players also will be held.
Tickets will go on sale June 14 at the Green Bay Bullfrogs Ticket Office, 1306 Main St., Green Bay. Tickets are $35 for dugout club seats, $25 for reserved seating, and $15 for general admissions.
